We are pleased to announce the signing of a new service and maintenance contract with Simon Howie Butchers Ltd, a family-owned business based in Perthshire, Scotland. This full-scope agreement covers the comprehensive operations and maintenance of an Enercon E-70 wind turbine.
Full Circle’s local team in Scotland is responsible for managing the site. The turbine, originally sourced from a wind farm in the Netherlands, was provided, installed, and commissioned by Business in Wind. This partnership underscores Full Circle’s commitment to supporting the second-hand turbine market in the UK, a crucial resource for renewable energy projects in locations where new construction is not possible.
The electricity generated by the turbine will power Simon Howie’s meat factory, surrounding dwelling houses, and the 350-acre Findony Farm, reflecting the company’s focus on sustainable energy solutions. This agreement marks yet another occasion where Full Circle has been selected as a service provider for a business integrating renewable energy into its operations. Recently, Full Circle also secured a long-term maintenance contract with Tesco, a leading British supermarket chain, to service the turbines powering their distribution centres across the UK.
This contract with Simon Howie highlights Full Circle’s growing multibrand capabilities and strengthens its presence in Scotland’s renewable energy sector.
“We are thrilled to partner with Simon Howie to support their renewable energy goals. It’s fantastic to see more businesses embracing wind energy to power their operations. Our collaboration with companies such as this, reinforces Full Circle’s role as a trusted partner to keep turbines turning.”
